Our first show of 2013. Jan 11/12. Downtown Portland. Big Ass Boombox is Portland’s new hotshot badass shoot from the hip, all ages, all loud pop band, all shows within walking distance of eachother, music festival. Over 40 kickass portland independent loud pop bands, 15 writers, 4 venues, and all for FREE.

“Miles to Go”, and indie rom-com directed by Quincy Rose, just hit the festival circuit, and the trailer features our song ‘Goat Chasing’. Pretty trippy hearing our song in a trailer. Stoked!

Yup, November 27th is our last show of 2012. Just ‘Animal Eyes’ and ‘Just Lions’. Bunk Bar. Come drink really good beer, eat really good food, dance with robots, make love to models that look exactly like you, and forget about time.

This will be our tour kick off for our west coast tour with Fanno Creek. And our EP release party. And Fanno Creek’s album release party. And the last show we play in Portland for two months. Love to you all.

Also very cool: We are featured in Ninkasi Brewery’s ‘Better Living Compilation’, which you can find in any of the Ninkasi Four packs featured below. Besides  us, there are a bunch of other rad bands on the compilation, and some incredibly good beer in the bottles.

Alright North West people, we love you all (well, most of you), but it’s time we made a pilgrimage to our birth mother, Alaska. We’re going to be trippin’ through glaciers and mountains and playing tag with polar bears. Most importantly, we’ll be playing for our homies and home people, friends and family, many of whom have shown us great support even though they’ve never seen us play live. Time to change that.

In other good news, we’re finally putting out some new material, which we’ll be recording all of July/August. Thanks can be directed to Daniel of Fringe Vintage. For those of you who’ve been paying attention during our sets, we’ll be recording the song ‘Grizzly Bear’, Sam’s new song ‘Last Knock’, and a quite a few you probably haven’t heard.

We’ve got some of the greatest gigs we’ve ever had ever coming up. They’re all listed on the right side of this page. Lots of Portland love with a few dips down south. We’re also working on our September EP release tour, so pay attention, world outside of Portland. We are going to come to you and give ourselves to you.
