Alright North West people, we love you all (well, most of you), but it’s time we made a pilgrimage to our birth mother, Alaska. We’re going to be trippin’ through glaciers and mountains and playing tag with polar bears. Most importantly, we’ll be playing for our homies and home people, friends and family, many of whom have shown us great support even though they’ve never seen us play live. Time to change that.
We’ve got one show May 26 at The Sheldon Community Arts Center in Talkeetna, the Trapper Creek Music Fest on May 27, then back to back dates at Alice’s Champagne Palace June 1/June 2 in Homer, not to mention (but I’m mentioning it) an all ages show in the works at The Yurt Village in Homer. And we’ve got some gigs hanging out with our parents too.
In other good news, we’re finally putting out some new material, which we’ll be recording all of July/August. Thanks can be directed to Daniel of Fringe Vintage. We’ve got some more Portland dates lined up to the left, if you want to save the date. Just don’t stand us up, we don’t handle rejection well.
Until then, mad love, and don’t worry, we’ll be back in July with music, smoked salmon, and roots and berries.
